5:2 DIET DAY 1 FAST DAY WEEK 4

Going into my fourth week of 5:2 , I feel the best way to approach a fast day is to accept that a fast day, in this case, is a day with minimal food intake. I was in denial for the past 3 weeks and kept coming up with recipes inasmuch as they are yummy and low cal I was over thinking it and for a change  I'll  make it simple that way.  I don't think of food all the time. Psyching oneself and understanding that the purpose of this fast is to give the liver a rest makes it easier to do. So fresh fruits, blanched fibrous veg, boiled eggs. What cold be more straight forward than that.

This week I fast on Monday and Wednesday,  feed Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Saturday and Sunday. Also, I am thinking, eventually or when ever I am ready and  have this "fast " days down to a science, I will do a 24 hour fast, consuming all 600 cal in one meal and going with water and tea till my next meal 24 hours later,  at least once a week. I'm still figuring out how my body reacts to different way of Intermittent fasting.

As I was successful with my fast days last week, my feed days were disasters. I went over my caloric allowance 4 days out of five and it has consequences. It was a Thanksgiving weekend, HELLO?  and there were desserts, fried stuff and alcohol. Although I did not drink and eat as much I went over my caloric allowance and it has consequences. see weigh in below..Hahaha, I just had  to laugh it off.

I couldn't wait to fast..!!!

November 28 weigh in= 189 lbs from 181 ( maybe water weight from alcohol)
November 29 weigh in = 186.7 lbs
