WHOLE FOOD - LOW CARB FRIENDLY SUPER
There ae low carb options munchies and such at WP (Whole Foods) these items may not be new to you but they are to me. I'm like flipping packages and taking photo NF (nutritional Fact) for sharing . I didn't realize WF could be such a low carb friendly super !!! YAY!!

While browsing through products at whole foods for low carb treats ,I stumbled by a row of RAW products. Food product that has not been processed and sweetened by organic maple syrup.
My love for coconut made me grab one the the WONDERFULLY RAW -COCO-ROONS -CaCao Nib so good !!!! 6 g net carbs .and I'm satisfied with 2 and a cup of coffee . I'm good to go.

ICE CREAM ON A LOW CARB ? SO POSSIBLE NOW!!
Doing without sugar/sweet treats with one's diet will eventually take its toll. You will simply miss it. This can cause a relapse that can lead to going back to old habits. For the longest time I have been trying out different low carb dessert recipes substituting sugar with STEVIA, Although I have been successful a couple of times. it can be costly and time consuming.
I am not one to have dessert with every meal but when I do want to indulge, well indulge is too storng a word more like partake, the cravings come on impulse and the thought to bring out bowls and measuring doesn't sound very appealing.
If you are like me or simply like to enjoy a cup of creamy sweetness guilt free, Cheer up!! Here comes ARTIC ZERO, an ice cream sweet and creamy enough that you can partake in GUILT FREE. see for yourself. Does not contain any artificail sweetener especially my dreaded "MALTITOL"
(Bit of advice, to really get that creamy texture, swirls your spoon around it and let it get soft a bit. add a couple of nuts, like walnut to give it more fiber and a filling effect so u dont over indulge and donlt forget ot input unto yuour CARB COUNTER app!!! right away to see where you are)

SAUTE SHRIMP IN GARLIC AND BITABUTTAH , PEEL THE SHELL OFF AND SET ASIDE.CUT INTO 2 A WHOLE WHOLE, (PLATE SIZE) LOW CARB TORTILLA (6 G NET CARB) ADD SHRIMPS (AS MUCH AS YOU CAN FIT INTO IT) TOP WITH MEXICAN MIX CHEESE, AND SPRINKLE CUT UP SPRING ONIONS. THEN THE OTHER TORTILLA HALF.
IN A BIG PAN MELT BITTABUTAH PLACE YOUR CONSTRUCTED QUESADILLA ON MEDIUM HEAT, BROWN ONE SIDE THE FLIP TILL OTHER SIDE IS BROWN AND CHEESE MELTED.

IT'S A NUTTY NUTTY WORLD
OK ...Well so far from when I started at 205 lbs January 21, 2012 to today March 26 2012 I have lost a good 20 lbs and average of 10 lbs/month very ideal. I am feeling lighter and my 34 pants are fitting more comfortably. My tummy is now walking with me instead of ahead of me or pointing into the direction I was headed. HAHAHAHA, if you know what I mean.
The secret I believe is consistency and awareness. Knowing what it is exactly you are ingesting or about to shove down your throat can be a life saver. Research that morsel of food !!! Nor really.. I used to be a "hater" and felt that counting and calculating each item of food was very daunting and a lot of work but you know, as I have learned, flipping that box for its nutritional info can become second nature very easily. There was a time during the course of this diet/lifestyle change when I was winging and guessing carbs and fiber content, I plateaued and was wondering why.
Then I got myself a Carb counter app ( free download ) and it was a game changer. I realized I was over my daily limits but at the same time I also realized I was avoiding things I could eat. Knowledge is power.
Speaking of labels, I was at whole foods a week ago and was browsing through their bulk bins to check out Carb content of grains and nuts and discovered things that got me into a NUTTY NUTTY world of great snacks. Nuts (health benefits) are fibrous, high in Omega 3, good fat and have a low net carb number.

CARB COUNTER is it good for you?
After loosing a substantial amount of weight, I plateaued at 15 lbs weight lost. then I discovered CARB MANAGER app . Applying and inputting food I intend to consume made me realize how much of the high glycemic food I was ingesting, on the other hand, it also allowed me to eat some of the food I was avoiding and was so afraid of before. Now I feel so un deprived and easily continue on a low carb lifestyle.
It not only track your carbs but your calories and fat total for the day..
So good.
I advise anyone to get one just a guide to a more focused weight lost regimen. its a way of training self at portion control. YES...

Cauliflower Ginger Chicken Soup
Cut Cauli flower into bite pieces . Slice and mash ginger ( size of thumb), u head if garlic mashed 1 medium size onion sliced . 1 medium size chicken
Or 6 pcs of chicken thighs, deboned n cut into bite pieces,(Nugget size)
Sauté ginger garlic n onion add chicken add a box chicken broth and/water and chicken bouillon. Bring to a boil then Simmer serve hot

According to my Nike GPS app the trail we treked this afternoon was only 3.9 miles and 408 calories burned but the PULGAS RIDGE map tells another story. 2 hours 20 minutes of up and down the ridge is actually 6 miles WOW . That was a great realization. I wonder then how much calories I used up!!!
